Qualifications

• 2 years of electrical or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and control systems.
• Comfort with mechanical tooling and precision alignment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repair: observe equipment in operation to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, identify root causes, and repair or replace defective components.
• Precision Maintenance: disassemble machinery, inspect parts for wear and defects, and adjust/align mechanical systems using micrometers, calipers, multimeters, RPM gauges, and straightedges.
• Electrical & PLC Troubleshooting: use electrical schematics, wire lists, and I/O documentation to troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems and PLCs.
• Preventive Maintenance: perform scheduled PM tasks, including lubricating, cleaning, adjusting, and replacing components to maintain optimal equipment runtime.
• Post-Repair Testing: reassemble, test, and power up equipment after repairs to verify full performance according to specs.
• Shop Upkeep: keep work areas clean and safe, manage parts inventory, and follow proper material recycling and disposal protocols.
