Job description

Research, order, and maintain necessary supplies to support assigned work and projects.

Uses basic mechanics’ tools such as wrenches, ratchets, sockets, hacksaw, tape measure, and screwdrivers.

Performs basic operations of major plant equipment and uses mechanical skills to identify and correct minor issues.

Performs stick welding and uses cutting torch.

Interprets basic drawings or sketches.

Uses electrical troubleshooting skills and voltmeter to identify and fix minor electrical issues.

Understands principles of hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication.

Operates electric and LPG/Gas forklifts.

Completes work order and inventory forms accurately.

Follows 5S and safety policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
