Job Details

• Schedule: Upon job offer, the manager will offer the schedule and pay.
• Pay: Determined by skill level.

Job Description

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair of mechanical malfunctions.
• Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.
• Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and reports.
• Comply with lockout/tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.
• Perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair equipment without supervision.
• Start all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision.
• Assist other mechanics as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures, humidity, dust, and noise.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and climbing ladders, lifts, and scaffolds. Lifting up to 70 lbs may be required.

Minimum Requirements

• Attach resume to showcase experience.
• Maintenance experience of 6 months, enrollment in an industrial maintenance program, or one year of classroom training from a technical college. Food industry experience is preferred.
• Applicants from Benton, Washington, and Madison counties in Arkansas will be considered.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation.
