Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States is seeking a General Maintenance technician for 2nd shift to keep production lines running by setting up, adjusting and breaking down machinery.

You will work with welding, hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics, use SAP for work orders and daily documentation, and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled. Candidates need 6 months of maintenance experience and must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• 6 months industrial maintenance or general maintenance experience required.
• Preferred exposure to welding, electrical and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by Supervisor.
• Record daily activities in SAP and create equipment history.
