Job summary

Job Details:Job Description2nd Shift Maintenance GeneralistEufaula Feed Mill Banks, ALLOCATION:498 County Road 4434Banks, AL 36005This position is responsible for, but not limited to:Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunctionPrepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problemsResponds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situationsPerform preventive maintenance according to scheduleComplete appropriate paperwork and reportsMust comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programsMust be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairsAble to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervisionCapable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervisionAbility to assist with other mechanics as neededPerform other duties as assignedWork in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity. It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid.The positions physical requirements will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.Lifting will also be required and depending on department could be up to 70lbs.Required to wear a safety toe boot that can withstand 75lbs. at all times.REQUIREMENTS:Must have a minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience or graduate of industrial maintenance training program or combination of experience and education to meet the 2 – year requirement.Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift:2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
