Job summary

Woodward in Santa Clarita, CA seeks a Machinist 2 for a full‑time temporary role through July 31, 2027. Set up, operate and maintain multiple machine types in an industrial setting under limited supervision.

You will troubleshoot, perform process checks, train others when needed, and follow safety and documentation practices. Strong GD&T, measurement, and CNC familiarity are expected; ITAR/EAR requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Proficient in using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and inspection tools.
• Experience with CNC programming and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines with minimal supervision and perform process checks.
• Provide training to other department members as needed.
• Complete paperwork and ensure record retention per procedures.
