Job summary

Decatur Diamond, LLC in Decatur, IN is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to set up and operate production machinery in a manufacturing facility. This role runs 10 hours per day, four days per week, from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, familiar with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, and capable of following instructions. Training is provided for the right person, with an extensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous machine operating experience preferred; training provided.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a team.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for operation.
• Start machinery and adjust to improve performance.
• Operate machinery per instructions.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform daily maintenance.
• Perform quality control and follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures.
• Follow safety and health regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.
