Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a Machinist III for its Miami Gardens, FL Landing Gear Facility. This onsite role requires setting up and operating CNC or manual machines to produce precision components.

You will interpret blueprints, use precision measuring tools, perform setups and inspections, and maintain quality records while working the 2nd shift (2:45 PM–11:15 PM). The position offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Ability to work 2nd shift: 2:45 PM–11:15 PM.

Aufgaben

• Produce machined parts by setting up and operating CNC or manual machines.
• Use precision hand measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Take measurements of materials and select appropriate machines.
• Perform machining setup and adjust as required.
• Conduct inspection of work produced.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, materials and dimensional requirements.
• Keep records and maintain quality safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Do

• Produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC or manual machines (Mills, lathes, bandsaws, etc.).
• Using precision hand measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
• Take measurements of materials and select appropriate machines for the process.
• Perform machining setup and adjust as required.
• Conduct inspection of work produced.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, materials and dimensional requirements.
• Keep records and maintain quality safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Working experience in manufacturing industry or machine shop
• Abilituy to work 2nd shift hours (Monday - Friday - 2:45 - 11:15 pm)
