Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester OEM is seeking Machinists to set up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines, ensuring parts meet specification and quality requirements. This role demands attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced environment.

Hours 3:30pm - 2am. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least two years in a production/shop setting, with strong math, communication skills, and the ability to document work accurately.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills to perform simple calculations and measurements.
• Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication for work requirements and progress updates.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Monitor part dimensions with gauges and calipers to confirm conformity to requirements.
• Document quality and workmanship on required paperwork.
• Assemble components and verify proper fit of connections and sub-assemblies per order.
• Use precision tools to inspect finished parts for accuracy.
