BARNES AEROSPACE West Chester MRO is hiring a Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC grinder, EDM or laser machines, ensuring parts meet specifications. The role emphasizes precision measurement, quality documentation, and adherence to standards.

The position requires two years in a production environment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and readiness to work the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 4:30pm–3:00am). Safety and compliance with FAA/DOT rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a production/shop position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC grinders, EDM or laser machines.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate work requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines.
• Monitor part dimensions with measuring tools (jigs, fixtures, gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Complete paperwork documenting part quality.
• Verify assemblies and fittings per customer order.
• Build electrodes for Fast Hole EDM.
