Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems is seeking a 2nd Shift Machining Tech III, Broach at City of Industry, CA. This hands-on role requires operating broaching and surface grinding machinery, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced shop.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years as a machinist, strong shop math, good English literacy, and the ability to train others. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of machinist experience.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Exposure to export-controlled data; compliance with access rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate broaching and surface grinding machinery as assigned.
• Read and interpret blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Perform first piece verification and maintain SPC daily requirements.
• Assist and train Machining Tech I-III; cross-train in other areas.
• Maintain safety practices and LOTO certification.
