• Experience in machining/metal fabrication is required.
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove work pieces from a machine per procedure.
• Proficiently use measuring instruments to ensure tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspections and adjust offsets as needed.
• Position and secure workpieces on machines with measuring tools and cranes.
• Study blueprints and work orders to determine tolerances and procedures.
• Identify tooling types (facemill, drill, taps, etc.).
