Job summary

Soundwich in Cleveland is seeking a hands-on manufacturing associate to support production lines and ensure quality standards.

Operate and troubleshoot multiple processes, use the PLEX ERP system, and perform hourly quality verifications. You will catch, label, package, sort, and rework parts while following all company procedures and safety policies. Lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Motivate to help Soundwich succeed within Job Classification Responsibilities.
• Operate and troubleshoot at least one St. Clair Manufacturing Process (Extrude, Die Cut, Laminate, Foam Line, Pelletize, Manual Press).
• Perform Quality Verifications with inspection devices and visual checks.
• Maintain hourly rates as directed by Management.
• Catch, label, package, sort, and rework parts.
• Follow all Company Procedures and policies.
• Understand Quality, Environmental and Safety policies and their impact on conformance.
• Be aware of the environmental and safety impacts of work activity and contribute to continual improvements.
• Submit quality, safety, environmental and business-related questions or suggestions.

• Motivation, i.e., helping Soundwich succeed within Job Classification Responsibilities
• Proficient in the use of applicable ERP System (e.g., PLEX) functions with respect to Job Classification Responsibilities
• Efficiently Set Up, Operate and Troubleshoot at least one of the following St. Clair Manufacturing Processes: Extrude, Die Cut, Laminate, Foam Line, Pelletize, Manual Press (Operate only)
• Effectively perform Quality Verifications with indicated Inspection Devices, including Visual Inspections (Master Competency Matrix, PLEX Control Plans (Checksheets)
• Maintain Hourly Rates set forth by Management
• Catch, Label, Package, Sort, and Rework Parts
• Understand and follow all Company Procedures pertaining to assigned tasks, and the potential consequences of departure from these Procedures
• Knowledge of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, all Company Policies, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Customer requirements
• Knowledge of the effects that nonconforming products have on our Customers
• Knowledge of the Environmental Policy, Environmental Objectives, all Safety Polices, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Regulatory requirements
• Aware of the Quality impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Quality System and the benefits of improved personal performance
• Aware of the Environmental and Safety impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Environmental and Safety System and the benefits of improved personal performance
