Job summary

Pop-Up Talent is hiring for a Machine Operator / Production Operator on the 2nd shift in Knoxville, TN. The role runs Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Entry-level applicants are welcome, with 2+ years of machine operating or production experience as a plus. You will operate processing equipment in a food manufacturing setting, adhere to GMP and safety protocols, and help maintain quality and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Entry-level candidates welcome.
• 2+ years of machine operator or production experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn production equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Start up and shut down equipment following established procedures.
• Monitor equipment and products for quality and production standards.
• Follow product specifications, recipes, and manufacturing procedures.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments as needed.
• Complete production, quality, batch, and traceability records.
• Perform basic equipment cleaning, lubrication, and inspections.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Report equipment, product, food safety, or workplace safety concerns.
• Follow GMP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work with team to keep production running smoothly.
