Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Bennettsville, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager 2nd shift Machine Operator to join their growing team. The machine operator will set up, operate, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment, inspect parts to specifications, and report issues.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of general work experience required.
• Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial technology a plus.
• Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
• Experience as a Machine Operator.
• Knowledge of Production Procedures.
• Attention to Detail.
• Teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Wipe product off pouches
• Type code in printer and verify it is correct
• Change codes every hour
• Keep pouch magazine filled with pouches
• Pull unfilled pouches off machine
• Keep machine and work area clean
• Inspect pouches
• Open rework
• Operate fillers
• Assist line mechanics with various duties
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Help in other departments as needed
