Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to process mesh fabric into semi-finished and finished products. You'll perform slitting, cutting, stapling, and assembly in a safety-focused manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, loading materials, operating cutters and presses, assembling components, and recording job data with bar code scanners. 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply basic drawings and perform basic math.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and basic measurement.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Clear communication and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Scan work orders and read instructions to understand product specifications and material needs.
• Operate slitting functions by loading rolls, aligning blades, and cutting to length.
• Use klicker/guillotine cutters to size and pack finished product.
• Operate mold press equipment and stack finished cups for packaging.
• Assemble components using various tools and band saws as required.
• Record material usage and job completion in the system via barcode scanners.
