Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in our construction materials manufacturing facility in Florida. You will operate plant machinery while following safety policies to produce high-quality precast concrete products.

This role requires basic reading and math skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work a 2nd shift. We offer competitive pay and benefits as part of CRH group.

Qualifications

• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math skills for measurements and conversions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments.
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects.
• Review product for quality and consistency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist other operators to set up machines.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
