Job summary

Next Level Staffing, Ltd. seeks a 2nd shift Machine Operator for Brake Press & Laser in Wisconsin. You will bend and fabricate parts to specifications, ensuring quality and on-time production.

Responsibilities include programming/setup, operating laser and brake press, loading materials, inspecting parts with precision tools, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year experience programming/setup/operating laser and/or brake press
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong reading of blueprints and use of precision measuring tools

Responsibilities

• Program and set up laser to meet production needs
• Operate high-speed laser and brake press and load/unload materials
• Nest programs and adjust tooling as required
• Move materials and inspect parts for conformance
• Maintain clean and safe work area and document time studies

2nd shift Machine Operator- Brake Press & Laser

2 nd shift hours are Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am

The Machine Operator will have the opportunity to flex between working with both a laser and a brake press machine. This position is responsible for bending/fabricating parts according to specifications, and plays a critical role in ensuring that our parts are created in both an efficient and timely manner.

Job Requirements

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED
• One year experience with programming, setup, and operation of a production laser and/or brake press (or machine operation equivalent)
• One year experience working in a manufacturing environment
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Follow production schedule to appropriately program the laser to produce adequate product to fulfill production needs in a timely manner
• Setup and operate high speed laser cutting machine by loading and unloading materials as required.
• Setup and nest programs.
• Movement of raw material – including the potential to drive a fork lift.
• Check and inspect raw material to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Material movement to and from machine.
• Install and secure punches and dies.
• Adjust ram stroke and back gauging to properly form parts.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools as appropriate.
• Confirm that all safety procedures and practices are followed and fill out time study forms nightly
• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English
