Job summary

A. O. Smith Corporation in Tennessee is seeking a 2nd shift Operator to initiate operations per customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes.

The role offers Regularly Scheduled Hours: 2nd Shift (2:30pm - 11:00 pm) Monday - Friday, with overtime as needed and a pay of $21.29/hour (20.29/hour + 1.00/hour shift premium). Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be able to read, understand and run production schedule.
• Ability to operate automated machinery and troubleshoot to increase uptime.

Responsibilities

• Complete training and perform operator functions per work instructions.
• Read, understand and follow the production schedule.
• Operate automated machinery and troubleshoot to increase machine uptime.
• Willing to learn multiple operations and work in different areas as needed.
• Stand or walk for the entire shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
