Job summary

Kraft Heinz Mason Factory in Mason, Ohio is seeking Machine Operators for our Liquid Pouch production team. You will deliver supplies to machines and process kettles to produce condiments ranging from ranch to syrup. This is a safety- and quality-focused, team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

The role offers a 3 pm – 11 pm Monday to Friday shift with potential overtime. Starting pay is $24.57 per hour, with medical/dental/vision after 30 days, holidays, vacation after 90 days, and a 401(k) plan

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a warehouse/shipping/receiving/logistics environment is required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to call out defects.
• Achieve a qualified score on the job skills assessment after interview.

Responsibilities

• Staging ingredients and moving packaging for production runs.
• Maintaining housekeeping in the department.
• Operating filling equipment and making minor changes.
• Machine rinsing and cleaning; assist in machine set ups and track counts.
• Labeling boxes and applying identifying information.
• Supporting 5S and inventory processes with supervisors.
• Inspecting locations to ensure product safety and manage pallets/film.
• Completing all paperwork accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our team is currently seeking Machine Operators to work in our Liquid Pouch department. We focus on safety and quality-orientated people who can demonstrate adaptability and willingness in a team-orientated- fast-paced work environment.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday- 3 pm - 11 pm (2nd Shift- variable based on assigned work)

Overtime is possible and will be either 4 hours before or after the regular shift

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• History of safe work practices.
• Prior experience in a warehouse- shipping/receiving- logistics environment is required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
• Achieve a qualified score on the job skills assessment- to be coordinated after receiving a passing interview score

Job Overview:

As part of our Liquid Pouch Production team you will be delivering supplies to machines & processing kettles that make anything from ranch to syrup.

Responsibilities & Duties-

May include- but isn’t limited to:

• Staging ingredients- moving packaging and product for production runs
• Maintaining housekeeping in the department
• Operating filling equipment; making minor changes
• Machine Rinsing and Cleaning, Assisting in machine set ups, ensuring accurate hourly machine counts so that visual boards can be filled out accurately.
• Labeling sides and ends of boxes. Placing stickers or other identifying information as requested by customer.
• Helping with 5S and other projects- advises inventory specialist of potential or ongoing inventory problems- works closely with lead and/or supervisor to ensure production requirements and customer satisfaction.
• Inspecting locations in his / her designated area to ensure product safety by changing pallets (as needed)- changing slip sheets and covering all ingredients and film- assists in implementing new procedures and processes for continuous improvement throughout the plant.
• Accurately complete all paperwork
• Other duties as assigned.
