Job summary

Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Manitowoc, WI. You will set up CNC machining centers from blueprint to first good part, build and modify toolpaths, and optimize tooling, feeds, and speeds.

The role emphasizes precision and being able to hand over parts that meet exact specifications. This full-time position runs 3 PM to 1 AM, Monday through Thursday, with every weekend offering a 3-day weekend.

Qualifications

• Blueprints interpretation and reading to set up parts.
• Ability to read and interpret process sheets and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machining centers from blueprint to first good part.
• Build and modify toolpaths to optimize production.
• Optimize tooling, feeds, and speeds for quality parts.
• Read blueprints and process sheets and catch issues early.
• Troubleshoot setups on the fly when problems arise.
• Collaborate with engineers on tooling and design improvements.
