Job summary

AJ Manufacturing Co., Inc. is seeking dependable entry-level machine operators for the 2nd shift. No prior machine operation experience is required as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

The role involves operating robotic machines to produce machined parts, while maintaining safety and quality standards on a fast-paced shop floor. Key duties include setting verification, monitoring production activity, and reporting issues with machinery or processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produces machined parts by operating robotic machines.
• Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part, and sample work pieces.
• Monitor & report production activity within the assigned manufacturing departments to achieve a level of daily throughput.
• Verifies conformance of production parts to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Be responsive to process and equipment deficiencies to maintain scrap levels at or above standard.
• Able to identify and report problems with machinery, tooling, and processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Hours: 5:00PM-5:00AM (overtime for after 40 hours)

We are seeking dependable Entry-Level Machine Operators to join our 2nd shift production team. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who is interested in learning machine operation. We provide comprehensive, on-the-job training, so no previous machine operating experience is required.
