Job summary
Crescent Paper Tube is seeking 2nd shift maintenance technicians to service and repair our manufacturing equipment and plant floor operations. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving paper tube winding and packaging machinery, and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical controls.
Candidates should have 3+ years in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment, experience with PLCs, and blue print reading.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with industrial assembly machines and plant equipment.
- Intermediate PLC skills; ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
- Ability to measure with standard tools and read blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Machining skills using manual lathes, mills, drill press, centerless grinders, etc.
- Repairing, maintaining and improving industrial machinery, paper tube winding machinery, packaging machinery, and other production equipment.
- Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical control troubleshooting.
- Operate all production equipment.
- Welding.
- Strong awareness of Safety.
- Ability to work as a team member.
