UFP Industries, Inc. in Mocksville, NC is seeking a general labor team member responsible for safely handling lumber products, verifying material meets customer requirements and company expectations, and supporting production with accurate tagging and labeling.

The role emphasizes basic math, readiness to learn, and participation in safety programs. No formal experience required, but individuals must be at least 18 and able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Competenze

High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
No minimum experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
Working knowledge of basic math.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Mansioni

Moves and secures lumber products and other materials according to instructions.
Stacks finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements.
Labels material based on type, size, and count.
Applies tags to material before/after treating/production.
Uses a staple gun and troubleshoots equipment.
Bands, bundles and secures material, including attaching corner protectors and loading sticks.
Follows stacking instructions per policy and customer requirements.
Maintains accurate inventory of tags and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
Records production on production sheets.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Assists with other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts.
Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
