Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas LLC is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee receiving and stockroom operations, ensuring material availability and efficient flow to production lines. The role emphasizes adherence to procedures, safety, and continuous improvement across logistics processes.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple teams, coordinate with Purchasng/Accounting, and drive improvements while maintaining KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years in a Logistics/Warehouse environment.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx and other transportation carriers.
• Familiarity with SAP, JIT, Receiving, Stockroom and Inventory Control principles.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and deliver results.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving and stockroom to ensure material availability for manufacturing.
• Ensure procedures for verification of shipments and handling & disposition of materials are followed.
• Inspect warehouse facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with management for repairs and equipment replacement.
• Drive delivery deadlines by efficient use of resources.
• Lead continuous improvement of logistics solutions across all phases.
• Attend and contribute to Shortage, PM and daily production meetings to update material status.
• Track KPIs to ensure optimal performance of logistics areas.
• Maintain 5S standards and support Kaizen and improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Accounting on item resolution and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Develop and support subordinates in Receiving and Stockroom lead roles.
