Georgia-Pacific Corp. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to oversee daily shipping and distribution, coordinating with carriers, preparing documents, and ensuring on-time order fulfillment in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualificações

• 1–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or related field.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems preferred.
• Familiarity with domestic and international shipping processes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and process all shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels, customs forms, etc.).
• Verify shipping instructions, customer requirements, and delivery deadlines.
• Ensure shipments meet compliance, packaging, and quality standards.
• Confirm product availability and collaborate with warehouse staff to prepare shipments.
• Verify order accuracy before shipment (quantities, product codes, packaging specifications).
• Monitor and track shipments; proactively communicate delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping logs and databases.
• Update ERP or warehouse management systems
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as needed.
• Adhere to company policies, DOT regulations, and international shipping guidelines.
• Ensure proper labeling and hazardous materials handling (if applicable to the industry).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shipping area.
