Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Loader in the Welding Department on the 2nd shift. You will set up jobs, operate automated robotic weld cells, and help maintain quality, safety and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will also train staff and ensure adherence to ISO policies and work instructions, contributing to continuous improvement. Strong attendance, flexibility for overtime, teamwork, and solid performance are required.

Job description

LOADER- WELDING DEPT- 2nd SHIFT

Purpose:
The Loader in our Welding Department will be responsible for setting up jobs, running automated robotic weld cells, and maintaining quality, safety, and production standards, training employees, and ensuring that all ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions are followed.

Job Requirements:
Good attendance record
Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime
Proven ability to work well with others
Must have good work performance record

Bid Rules:
Vacancy will be posted for seven (7) days
Interested employees must have completed the qualifying period
Cannot be currently involved in disciplinary process
Employees may successfully bid no more than once in six (6) months.
Job bids are considered on the basis of seniority if all other requirements are met.
The successful job bidder may elect to return to their former job classification if such decision is made known to the company prior to the completion of thirty (30) calendar days on the job.
The successful job bidder will serve a trial period of up to ninety (90) calendar days.
