Colonial Group in Bloomfield, CT, is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to support the industrial laundry facility. You will help stage merchandise, fold textiles, and monitor quality while following safety procedures.

The role requires ability to read and follow instructions, basic math, and good communication. Work may include weekends and overtime as needed; the environment is a warehouse with exposure to weather.

Qualifications

• Must understand written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills required for counts and bundles.
• Clear verbal and/or written communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Reliable attendance schedule and punctuality.
• Must speak and understand English to communicate with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Stage cart in lift table, secure safety chain, and raise the table.
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, napkins, and seat covers.
• Identify merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type.
• Place bundles in storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Move full and empty baskets as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
