Job summary

Wm B Reily & Company is seeking a Line Operator for the Knoxville Plant. The role focuses on safely operating production equipment, ensuring quality products, and meeting timelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include GMP adherence, using Redzone for downtime tracking, completing changeovers, maintaining product specifications, and ensuring documentation accuracy. A strong sense of safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of machine operating/production experience.
• Ability to start/stop equipment and perform a changeover.
• Strong verbal and written communication; time management.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment efficiently according to GMPs and safety requirements to meet daily labor and waste goals.
• Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime and communicate with support functions.
• Complete change overs for assigned equipment and/or production line.
• Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality.
• Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.
• Accurately complete quality, traceability, and production paperwork.
• Report any product deficiencies, food, or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment operates optimally.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and assist with change overs.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training and initiatives.
• Maintain safe use of equipment and report injuries or unsafe conditions.
• Support GMPs and emergency action plan adherence.
• Support food safety, quality, and legality.
