Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Production Line Leader to oversee a busy line in our Assembly and Contract Packaging facility in Bolingbrook, IL.

This role focuses on maximizing productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with SOPs and CGMPs, while leading temporary staff and coordinating with maintenance, warehouse, and QA. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with overtime and benefits including health and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Strong communication with management and team members.

• Detail-oriented and accurate.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagram, or scheduled instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the production line to maximize efficiency.
• Set up line as required and monitor line diagram execution.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and reconcile materials for the shift.
• Assign and train temporary staff for line tasks per work orders.
• Oversee production flow, troubleshoot issues, adjust equipment as needed.
• Motivate temporary staff to sustain line productivity and goals.
• Ensure finished products meet specifications and complete hourly quality checks.
• Record labor hours and production data, maintain paperwork.
• Maintain line cleanliness and safety compliance; participate in safety training.
• Coordinate with warehouse, maintenance, and QA departments and report line issues.
• Ensure equipment and area safety and cleanliness; perform duties safely.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
