Job summary

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training, and Certifications / Licenses: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must be able to obtain a Lift Truck License.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Interpersonal skills, manual dexterity, moderate mechanical skills, math skills, and judgement skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate a Lift Truck for the transportation of goods to and from one area to another.
Operate a Powered Industrial Lift Truck to move goods such as rolls of carpet, rolls of backing, bundles of carpet cores, pallets of products.
Learn to use RF computer mounted on lift trucks to scan products being moved.
Drive lift truck in a safe and efficient manner and perform Dock Plate placement procedures safely.
