Job summary

Vestis Corporation is seeking a 2nd shift warehouse associate in Springfield, IL. You will perform bulk handling in an industrial laundry facility, ensuring safe, rapid, and accurate processing of merchandise into and out of the facility.

Responsibilities include inspecting machines, loading and unloading washers/dryers, verifying batch tickets, recording weights, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic math and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to follow safety rules and operate equipment per procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Checks all machine safety devices before operating equipment and records forms.
• Loads washer/dryer, moves slings, and verifies batch tickets for correct lots.
• Writes batch ticket information on machine forms and logs weights in SOFTROL.
• Unloads washer and dryer, ensuring proper moisture levels and product cooling.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and follows production procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
