Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs in Rochester, MN is seeking a Laser Operator to run and monitor multiple laser cutting machines, following routing and blueprints to produce parts safely and efficiently. You will calibrate machines daily, nest parts, document shop activity, maintain material utilization, and keep a clean, safe workspace while reporting any issues.

The role requires a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and strong English communication skills for reading prints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• English language proficiency required.
• Blueprint reading skills required.
• Ability to check parts to print and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control three or more laser machines and material system.
• Perform daily calibration and overall checks of machine and system.
• Perform dynamic nesting and create necessary shop documents at the machine.
• Maintain acceptable levels of material utilization.
• Produce parts according to routing package instructions.
• Report labor and job data accurately.
• Maintain safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain clean and neat work area.
• Perform other tasks within department or plant as required by supervision.
