Job summary

Diamondback-CN is seeking a Laser Operator I to join the 2nd shift and learn adjustments to laser tooling, machines, or programs. The role involves operating multiple lasers, conducting quality checks, and keeping thorough logs.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of hand/power tool experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and preferably forklift certification and basic Excel knowledge. Other duties include shift briefs and maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple laser machines simultaneously.
• Check daily schedule and maintain workload.
• Quality checks throughout processes.
• Maintain serial number logs and cleaning logs daily.
• Accurately fill out depth chart.
• Maintain machine cleanliness.
• Remove existing stickers and check box for imperfections and sturdy divider.
• Verify the serial number on lowers to paperwork and box label.
• Handoff items after scrap or duplicate to ATF Compliance.
• Ensure completed carts are properly staged in the tool room.
• Conduct shift-change brief.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
