Job summary

AdvancedPCB is seeking a Lab Technician / Environmental Compliance Specialist to support PCB manufacturing in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The role covers chemical bath management, regulatory reporting, and hazardous waste handling, serving as the site’s environmental compliance lead.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in chemical processing and environmental compliance within a manufacturing setting, with experience in PCB or chemical manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing lab, chemical processing or environmental compliance.
• Experience in PCB or chemical manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing and maintaining chemical process baths.
• Experience managing environmental compliance programs and regulatory reporting.
• Experience purchasing and managing chemical inventories.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and maintain chemical baths and process solutions.
• Perform chemical analysis and testing to ensure specifications.
• Monitor bath chemistry and adjust for product quality and efficiency.
• Maintain records of chemical usage, testing results, and process parameters.
• Troubleshoot chemical process issues and coordinate with production teams.
• Manage purchasing, receiving, and inventory of chemicals and lab supplies.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement and ensure proper storage/labeling.
• Prepare and submit MPCA/EPCRA/Hazardous Waste reporting and permits.
• Coordinate site inspections by MPCA and MCES; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain environmental records per regulatory retention requirements.
• Serve as hazardous materials and waste subject matter expert; train staff.
