Job summary

A leading biotech company in Bowling Green is seeking a 2nd Shift Lab Tech to perform microbiological testing, including finished and raw material testing. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a science field or relevant experience and at least 1 year of microbiological testing experience. This position offers a structured training period of 4-8 weeks and involves a 2nd shift schedule from 2pm to 10:30pm, Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat.

2ndShift Lab Tech needs 1+ years experience

2ndShift Lab Tech requires:

• Train on Day Shift, 8am-4:30pm, Mon Friday training will last 4-8 weeks (depends on the person)
• 2nd shift schedule 2pm 10:30pm, Sun Thurs or Tues Sat
• Bachelors degree in science field or relevant work experience
• Skilled in use of PC software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with SAP, relevant ISO standards, and/or auditing preferred
• Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities
• Minimum 1 year experience with microbiological testing required
• Experience with hygienic sampling & hygienic plating required

Finished product and raw material testing

• Gram-staining
• Stock inventory, media, and reagents, managing laboratory waste
• Environmental monitoring including testing process water, air sampling, and swabbing of equipment (limited)
• Plate reading and communication of results
