Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Journeyman Millwright for GM Warren Annex C on the 2nd shift to maintain facility mechanical systems and infrastructure. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on AHUs, doors, dock equipment, belts, and related components.

Requires active Journeyman license or 8 years’ experience; union experience preferred. Responsibilities include documenting work, following safety policies, reading blueprints, and collaborating with the team to minimize

Qualifications

• Journeyman Millwright certification or 8+ years equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with overhead doors, dock equipment, and HVAC systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience working in union environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of overhead doors, dock levelers, dock locks, and truck restraints.
• Maintain and repair Air Handling Units (AHUs), make-up air units, and overhead heaters.
• Perform belt replacement, sheave alignment, and related mechanical work.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform corrective repairs.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Perform welding and fabrication using cutting torch, grinders, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Document work performed and provide equipment condition feedback.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime.
• Follow all safety policies including LOTO and PPE requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
