Job summary

GROWSCAPE in Ohio seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, bin audits, and inspections of incoming and returned goods.

You will support efficient warehouse operations with timely receiving, accurate put-away, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards, while identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain high service quality across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12 months cumulative experience in a Warehouse/Distribution environment preferred.
• Reach truck, forklift, or turret truck experience preferred.
• Experience with RF Scanner and Warehouse Management Computer Software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment, prioritizing safety at all times
• Complete daily inventory cycle counts
• Perform bin location audits
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Complete product quality inspections
• Inspect and receive in product from outside vendors
• Inspect and receive in product from customer returns
• Perform warehouse worker functions – load/unload trucks, pick/put-away inventory
• Maintain quality service by following the company-wide standards
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping bin locations, pallet area, and workstations neat and free of debris and trash
• Maintain clean shipping supply area
• Comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations

Job Purpose:
