Job summary

RowanEDC Partnership is seeking a warehouse/operations lead with extensive experience in material handling and inventory control. The role requires coordinating with project teams and upper management, directing floor activities, and ensuring accurate transactions across ERP systems.

Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read complex work orders. Flexibility for overtime and cross-department collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in material handling, inventory control, or a supervisor role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct others and act as on-floor manager when needed.
• Ability to read work orders/prints and have advanced computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Print reading ability and attention to detail are essential.
• Must be able to problem solve and adapt to flexible/overtime schedules.
• Knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving processes.
• Ability to identify products from labels and manage inventory transactions.
• Experience with ERP systems and generating basic reports (negative report, transfers, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to others and represent themselves as a leader.
• Operate as Manager when Manager is off floor or not in building.
• Display expert understanding of all material handling roles and interactions with departments.
• Communicate actively with employees and upper management.
• Locate products, complete cycle counts, and ensure inventory and financial accuracy.
• Coordinate with project management to expedite customer requests.
• Close jobs, assign locations, and manage inventory transfers and reports.
• Prepare shipments for unloading or transit and verify paperwork matches items.
