Job summary

Wagner Logistics seeks a 2nd Shift Inventory Control Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy and support customer service and warehouse personnel on the distribution floor.

The role emphasizes maintaining the warehouse management system, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring product rotation while adhering to safety and security policies. The position runs Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with a starting pay of $21.00 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly.
• Forklift certified or able to complete forklift training.
• General PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow directions, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving.
• Well organized and able to multitask, follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationship with customer by responding to inquiries and complaints; report feedback to management.
• Know and maintain warehouse management system; maintain product locator system and inventory integrity; assist in cycle counts.
• Ensure product rotation per customer requirements and inspect inventory for damage or shrinkage.
• Verify inbound product receipt and outbound freight staging per Wagner requirements.
• Report safety hazards and monitor security procedures.
