Job summary

Wagner Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) at Edgerton, KS. This on-site role pays $21.00 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential, with a focus on inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 1 year in inventory control, forklift certification, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, count, perform simple math, and write legibly.
• Forklift certified or able to complete forklift training.
• Microsoft Office applications proficiency.
• Capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods with lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow directions, deductive reasoning and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong customer relations by responding promptly to inquiries and complaints about receipts and inventory.
• Be proficient with the warehouse management system and product locator; assist with inventory and cycle counts.
• Understand customer service requirements related to inventory control.
• Ensure product rotation meets customer requirements and inspect for damage or shrinkage.
• Verify inbound receipts and outbound freight per QA requirements and report results.
