Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a production/quality role on 2nd shift in the United States. The position involves evaluating product quality, monitoring machines, and ensuring safety in the work environment.

You will identify and remove diseased birds and contaminated parts, trimming disease and contamination from product as necessary. The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to use knives and scissors, and lifting up to 10 pounds.

Qualifications

This position is responsible for evaluating the quality of the product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsible for monitoring machines as needed and notifying Supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns. Responsible for recognizing, removing, and discarding systemic diseased birds and/or/viscera packages, removal of parts due to disease and contamination, removing birds from the line for reprocessing due to defects. Trimming disease and contamination from the product as necessary.
