Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Production Painter to operate paint guns and apply industrial finishes to products. The role emphasizes maintaining continuous production, performing startup checks, and adjusting gun settings for quality finishes.

You will inspect in-process work and report data accurately, while performing post-process touchups as required. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred candidates holding an Associate degree or equivalent and some painting experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months painting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Prior autobody experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint guns using proper technique to apply industrial finishes on product.
• Ensure continuous production with minimal waste by performing pre-operation activities for startup and adjustments.
• Perform in-process inspections and ensure products meet visual standards of acceptance.
• Adjust and diagnose paint gun settings to meet specifications accurately and timely.
• Ensure daily production report data is accurate and up to date; identify color and finish defects.
• Perform out-of-booth inspection and complete buffing, polishing or repairs as needed.
• Mix paint according to production card.
