Job summary

EQI Ltd. is seeking an experienced Industrial Paint Supervisor for the Berea, KY facility to lead the 2nd shift. This role combines hands-on technical painting with full supervisory responsibilities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production.

The ideal candidate will have powder coating and wet paint experience, a track record of staff development, and the ability to manage schedules and equipment maintenance. This is a salaried, full-time position with PTO and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience in paint, powder coating, or manufacturing.
• Powder coating and wet paint experience required.
• Driver's license required.
• Certifications for painting or body work preferred.
• Experience painting a variety of surface types.
• Proficiency with technical machinery.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety protocols are followed by all team members on 2nd shift.
• Directly supervise, schedule, and coordinate all 2nd shift paint department employees.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop 2nd shift painters.
• Coordinate shift hand-off with 1st shift paint leadership.
• Operate forklifts to move and stage material.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it remains in working order.
• Perform quality checks to meet customer standards.
• Set up jobs with correct powder/paint and coating.
• Monitor production metrics for the 2nd shift.
