Sun Recruiting, Inc. is assisting a client in Sedalia, MO, seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift. The role focuses on precision machine installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability programs using CMMS and data analysis.

You will perform preventive maintenance on CNC and manual machines, HVAC, and pumping systems, coordinating with a maintenance team to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance Technician experience.
• Strong understanding of machine design and operation.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, hydraulic schematics, pneumatic diagrams, mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Demonstrated expertise in industrial mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair.
• Experience using hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and utility vehicles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
• Ability to work safely and effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and background verification requirements.

Responsabilités

• Repair CNC machines, manual machines, robotics, and machining centers.
• Repair facility equipment including air compressors, HVAC, cooling systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Use manuals, documentation, and vendor resources to diagnose issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify and adjust alignments.
• Align machines using conventional, laser, and electronic methods.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair industrial pump systems.
• Provide daily maintenance reports and status updates.
• Use CMMS to generate, document, and track maintenance activities.
• Complete preventive and planned maintenance procedures.
• Follow safe rigging and material handling practices.
• Respond quickly to downtime to minimize production interruptions.
