Job summary

Hypertherm, Inc. is seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Hanover, NH. This hands-on role focuses on routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with machine installations to keep production lines running smoothly.

You’ll join a collaborative, safety-driven team and contribute to documentation, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability while working with experienced technicians and production teams.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn industrial maintenance skills.
• Ability to safely work with production equipment and follow established safety procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately document completed work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment and help identify and address potential safety risks.
• Handle and manage hazardous waste in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, including filter changes, machine cleanouts, lubrication, and coolant maintenance.
• Assist with basic corrective maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Support troubleshooting of common equipment issues, such as leaks, clogged filters, air loss, coolant flow problems, and conveyor jams.
• Help experienced technicians with machine installations, relocations, and equipment setup.
• Communicate maintenance activities with production leaders to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using our company maintenance management system (MaintainX).
• Participate in knowledge sharing and collaborate with team members to support equipment reliability.
