Job summary

Cargill is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our Kansas City facility. The role focuses on preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance across packaging lines and support systems.

You will document work in CMMS, troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, and bearings, and operate a range of hand and power tools while following safety protocols. The candidate should have at least one year in industrial maintenance, basic computer skills, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment.
• Document all work in maintenance software and keep records updated.
• Install, test, and repair equipment including conveyors, pumps, belts, and bearings.
• Operate standard maintenance tools and read mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Comply with safety policies and keep work area clean and safe.
