Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) position with consistent weekday hours and rotating on-call schedule in Crosby Township, MN. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and manufacturing experience.

The role offers a pay rate of $23.00/hour or higher, plus an additional $1.00/hour shift differential, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, maintenance, and safety improvements across

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Electrical knowledge including single phase 120v, three phase 480v and 24 VDC power systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Complete all preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work to facilities and equipment as required.
• Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
