Job summary

HARIBO of America in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking an Industrial Electrician for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on wiring, repairing, testing and installing electrical components to support continuous production with safety and environmental compliance.

You will interpret blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot AB PLC systems, perform preventive maintenance, and mentor teammates to improve machine performance and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent (HSED/GED).
• 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Flexibility with off-shift work schedule and overtime/weekends.
• Knowledge of AB PLC processors (CompactLogix/ControlLogix preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings and PLC troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of packaging/processing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Basic math for adjustments in equipment settings.
• Teamwork and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust manufacturing equipment to optimize performance with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Develop and use procedures and work instructions with diagrams and manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Troubleshoot AB PLC processors and input/output modules.
• Diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance for safe, productive operation.
• Perform electrical work per industry code, including transformers, motors, wiring, and panel layout.
• Communicate effectively with associates to maintain a positive work environment.
• Train and coach others for success.
