Job summary

The Freeman Corporation is seeking an Industrial Electrician for the 2nd shift in Winchester, KY. The role focuses on safe operation, maintenance and improvement of electrical and control systems within a large manufacturing facility.

You will troubleshoot complex electrical and control issues, install and upgrade equipment, and document work using maintenance systems. Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and motor controls is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, controls, or automation.
Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and electrical control systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and safely perform installs/repairs.
Strong problem-solving and independent troubleshooting in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled equipment and HMIs.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Use test equipment to identify root causes of failures.
Maintain safe work practices and contribute to maintenance records.
